Teaching & Learning

Beaver Road Primary School is a three form entry school and is much larger than most other primary schools. A single form is no more than 30 pupils and has a qualified teacher and teaching assistant. Each phase is led by an Assistant Headteacher and Year Leader. The Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher have overall responsibility for the school.

Beaver Road, like other schools, has four main phases and eight primary year groups:

Foundation Stage (FS)
Nursery:  3-4 Year Olds
Reception 4-5 Year Olds

Key Stage 1 (KS1)
