Bedding Plants - Collection Saturday 12th May

Order forms will be in book bags week commencing 19th March and must be returned to the school office or directly to the PTA with FULL payment no later than Friday 27th April.
Please make sure the payment total is correct and that you also put your name & contact number on the order form. Please DO NOT put your child's name or child's class on the order form.

Order forms can be downloaded from this page and will also be available on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Please feel free to pass on order forms to family, friends and neighbours. The more plants we sell, the more money we raise for the school and the prettier everyone's gardens will look!

Bedding plant orders will be available for collection from outside the school office Saturday 12th May, between 10am and 12noon.

The school is being opened especially for this plant delivery and will be locked at 12noon, so ALL orders MUST be collected on time.

Only the PTA will be on site, with access to just the grounds outside of the school office. We will not have access to any other areas in the school for storing plants, so any orders that are not collected on time will be left outside of the school office. If this happens, the PTA and the school will not be held responsible for any plants that may be damaged or missing when eventually collected.

PTA Day - Friday 8th June

To celebrate Volunteer Recognition week, we will be holding a non uniform day. As the last PTA non uniform day worked really well getting donations for the Christmas Fair, we though we'd do the same again and ask each year to bring in a donation of something for the Family Fun Day.
More details to follow nearer the time.

Didsbury Festival & Parade - Saturday 16th June

This year the overall theme of Didsbury Festival parade is pollination. Beaver Road has been given the sub theme of 'Bats & Flowers'. We do ask that if the children would like to jon in the parade, that they don't come dressed a Batman!
We will be asking for volunteers to act as stewards at the parade and keep the children safe etc.
We will also be asking for volunteers to run a stall at the festival itself as we feel that it's important for Beaver Road Primary School, as a local school, to get involved in such a great community event. We hope that the volunteers who step forward to do this would like to get involved with ideas of what the stall should sell or activites to offer.

Family Fun Day & Fun Run - Sunday 1st July

Our biggest event of the school year and a great day out for all the family.

Last year was a great success and we hope this year to be bigger and better!!

They'll be our usual PTA run stalls with some new ones of course.
We'll have a wide range of business stalls offering their wares.
Sports and activities, including the ever popular Fun Runs.

Then there's the inflatable fun. Last years was more popular than we could of imagined, so if you liked last years selection of inflatables, you'll love this years!!
And don't forget, it's a FAMILY fun day, so why let the kids have all the fun! The inflatables are also available for adults too!

There will be pizza and a bbq for when you get hungry and a licensed bar to quench your thirst.

Maybe have a little boogie to the tunes from our very own 'Cheeky DJ'.

We've got the emergency services joining us (emergencies dependant), so come along and have a chat with them and see the fire engine and police vehicle.

With chance to buy some tickets for our raffle which is always full of fantastic prizes.
If you have your own business or know someone who does, we are always looking for raffle prizes. Maybe ask your employer? The more prizes we get, the more winners there are!

This is a big event for the school and takes A LOT of organising. We need all the help we can get. There's lots to do before the event and even more to do on the day.
If there's only one event that you volunteer to help with, let it be this one.
This is the last event of the school year and the last chance to raise much needed funds for our children's school. Most of all, it's loads of fun!

We are now looking for businesses who would like a stall at our event, so please spread the word and tell anybody you may know to get in touch.

Tickets Adults £1.50, Children £1.00, U3 Free, available to buy online via our Golden Giving pages
