Beaver Road is a National Support School and David How, the headteacher, is a National Leader of Education. National Leaders of Education (NLEs) are outstanding headteachers or principals who, together with the staff in their schools, known as designated National Support Schools (NSS), use their skills and experience to support schools in challenging circumstances.
Beaver Road has a very successful record of working with other schools, headteachers, groups of teachers and individual teachers in improving teaching and learning and pupil attainment and achievement. In addition to leading their own schools, NLEs work to increase the leadership capacity of other schools to help raise standards. Beaver Road is currently engaged in assisting a primary school in Bury move out of special measures.
David How has extensive experience working with the National College on leadership programmes for headteachers and middle and senior management staff. David is also available for Governing bodies and Headteacher performance management.
Schools seeking advice or support, guidance or help of any kind can contact David for an informal discussion on 07817 325 779 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
